Whelp here it goes guys! I have been so excited about starting this blog and when my friend, Brittany, suggested starting it officially on New Years I thought it was such a wonderful idea! So here goes the first post on my blog. I can’t wait to come back in a year see how much I have grown and how this blog has developed. Thanks ever so much for reading and supporting my passion!
I cannot think of a better way to start the New Year than with a adorable shiny dress and a new fashion blog! I do not normally have extravagant plans for New Years therefore I do not have much of a New Years wardrobe. I searched my closet for a good hour one night trying to find an article of clothing that seemed to fit into the realm of shiny or sparkly. Alas, an hour passed and my search had resulted in nothing but non-sparkly clothing scattered through out my house. We all know that feeling. Despite the number of clothing items in our closet sometimes we just cannot seem to find a thing to wear. Caitlin Moran once said, “When a woman says, ‘I have nothing to wear!’ What she really means is, ‘There’s nothing here for who I’m supposed to be today.” That is how I felt in my quest for the perfect New Years outfit. So I decided I would have to leave my own closet to locate this sparkly/shiny article of clothing. I found this little shiny, white dress on a spur of the moment trip to Target and thought it was just perfect. Paired with some tights, high heel booties, a unique purse (I love the idea of using this old Kodak camera carrying case as a purse!) and some snazzy jewelry I feel ready to tackle whatever the New Year brings!
Shoes: Target (Old), Look-Alike
