L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore.
I wore this outfit on Valentine’s Day to be festive and because I thought it was too adorable of an outfit to pass up. I didn’t have plans for the occasion so I stayed home with my main man, Parker, and made heart shaped pancakes and pink eggs for us. Parker ate his little brunch out of a Muppets bowl and I had mine on a pink plate. It was even more wonderful and enjoyable than if I had spent it out in the hustle and bustle of the V-Day festivities.
Everyone made comments about how much they loved this outfit when I wore it so I figured it made sense to feature it on the blog! I had to really think out this outfit since it was Valentine’s Day and Floral Friday. So that meant hearts, love, and pink would need to be combined with some sort of floral. You may be asking, “What is Floral Friday?” I will fully explain this in another post, I know it will be hard to wait, but patience is a virtue 😉 . The short story is that I made it up and I religiously wear something floral every Friday. It is fun and I seriously LOVE doing it! Anyway, I found this floral skirt at Goodwill and was ecstatic, because look at it?! It’s amazing!! So with this skirt in mind I searched through my closet until I found this adorable shirt! It was obviously meant to be, Love + Valentine’s Day, you get the idea! It all began to fall into place…my skirt, the perfect Valentine’s Day shirt, these necklaces, and my AH-mazing black booties (I adore these shoes). I must of had a little help from Cupid cause this outfit is way too perfect to be real! I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine’s Day with their sweetheart or fur baby!
Jumping the track a little, I started working with a new photographer who is absolutely an amazing person and takes beautiful photographs (not that I need to tell you, I mean look at these beauties below!!). I am so blessed to be working with, Amber, and her sister, Patience, who did my make-up! Patience did such an amazing job, I don’t think my make-up has ever looked this good! I am beyond excited for what God has in store and to be working with these amazing ladies! To quote Bogart on Casablanca (if you have not watched this movie I’m going to need you to work on that. Seriously.), “Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
