Thank the Lord that winter is almost over. Although I both love and welcome the winter season, if I had to see one more icicle or endure one more chilly day I was going to lose my mind! Everyday I would leave my house for work and long for the flowers, sunshine and loving embrace of warm sunbeams on my face. Of course Nashville has the worst winter in many years the same winter this Georgia girl decides to move. Thankfully, I believe the worst is behind us and we are well on our way to complaining about the summer heat instead of the winter chill!
So, maybe i’m the only one, but I have the best luck finding unique and fun clothing when I venture outside of my normal size range. For instance, this sweater is an extra large, but it fits me like a dream! Of course I meant for it to be a bit over-sized, but I would’ve totally missed out on the look this sweater adds to the equation if I had only been looking for clothing in my specific size the day I purchased this sweater. Moral of the story? Start shopping/looking outside of your typical size, especially when thrift shopping. You never know what lovely things you will find when you step outside of the box. 🙂
